When I was in 3rd grade, being a comedian when I Grew Up briefly beat out my long-term dream of being an archaeologist.

I had two jokes:

"When I grow up, I want to be a comedian. I figure, I'm already half way there. When I tell people I want to be a comedian when I grow up, they always laugh."

"When I grow up, I want to be a comedian. I figure I'm already half way there-- everytime I talk back to my grandfather, he says, 'what, you think you're some kind of comedian?'"

Needless to say, I never quite made it to Second City.
